Applied Fiber Concepts, Inc. (AFCI) is an OEM/Private Label manufacturer of bullet-resistant armor systems and other armored products for law enforcement, military, and private security personnel. While AFCI is still relatively young as a corporation, its Founder and President, Alex F. Cejas, has been designing, manufacturing, and selling body armor for more than 25 years. AFCI currently designs the soft armor systems, engineers the ballistic protection panels to various threat levels dictated by the National Institute of Justice, the US Military, and international specifications, and AFCI markets and sells its products through supply agreements signed with manufacturers and distributors of tactical gear who choose not to make their own armor panels. The company strives to build its partnerships with a manufacturer and distribution network by developing OEM quality awareness and superior ballistic performance at competitive prices. AFCI offers its solutions as alternatives to existing bullet-resistant product lines, and differentiates itself by emphasizing OEM/Private Label benefits, promoting high performance and quality, and facilitating marketable armor solutions that help customer brand awareness.
The key message associated with the AFCI product line is high performing, comfortable, functional, and well-constructed bullet-resistant solutions. We currently have a unique opportunity to be the only manufacturer in our industry to offer strictly OEM/private label soft and hard armor solutions. The Company’s mission is to engineer, to design, and to manufacture a distinct variety of high-quality, high-performance protective products for the law enforcement, military, and private security communities. AFCI intends to “Apply Technology to Protecting Heroes”.
